The automatic shut-off saves battery and is recommended to activate it when you manually enter payments into the terminal. On the other hand, when connecting the terminal to the cash register, we recommend leaving the automatic shutdown off.
When the automatic screen switch-off is activated, the payment terminal screen will automatically switch off after the selected inactivity interval.
The screen dimming can be set directly on the terminal in the Launcher Menu or in the Dotypay portal in the device configuration – instructions can be found in the Device Settings section.
